It's an unforgettable day for me. A good friend of mine called to tell me he's out of officer cadet training. "This must be an april fool joke" I said to myself. I continue to probe to realise that what he said is true.
He's been a great friend for a long time, someone whom I feel wld be a better officer den me. From IPPT fail, he worked hard and became the platoon best. I supported him as well as an instructor in botak hill. He has done well so far in his officer course. And now he's out all of a sudden.
Later in the day another april fool happened. I was supposed to be officially promoted on 1st april (some told me it's an april fool joke). True enough there's an administrative cock up (as usual) and our official promotion date have to be delayed. But no one cares, we went around putting the new ranks on all our friends who were promoted on that day. Hahaha...our boss saw that, and he liked that idea of self promotion as well!
I went out at night to meet my good friend and his girlfriend for dinner (i'm a light bulb again) We had such a good time really (though i'm still a light bulb) and such a good talk with the 2 old friends. Have not enjoyed myself in such a long time...A weird april fool full of things that I thought were jokes...but it was a good day for me actually...finally...a happy post about myself in a long time...=D
